It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women's Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the #1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it's the only one that is women-first (~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media.

The Production Operations Director will lead the operational execution of all broadcast and streaming productions for LOVB, ensuring seamless delivery of live matches and original content. This high-impact role is responsible for managing engineering, crewing, vendor relationships, and the end-to-end signal distribution for all broadcast partners.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with deep experience in live sports production and a proven ability to manage complex logistics across multiple venues and partners. They are well-connected in the crewing space and familiar with how each person & process ladders up to a successful broadcast. • Oversee all aspects of broadcast operations, engineering, and crewing for LOVB’s live events and original content productions
• Partner with EP & production/crewing partners to ensure well-rounded staffing for every match
• Main point of contact for tech managers across 10 markets + league-run tentpoles
• Build and coordinate travel needs (whether owned or delegated)
• Track crew issues and successes to ensure best possible staffing as the season evolves
• Strategically evaluate best possible operational solutions for each type of venue, and broadcast/stream during planning phase
• Manage implementation of production enhancements (i.e. live player mics, POV cameras, etc)
• Ensure operational excellence and high-quality standards for all broadcast and streaming outputs

• Manage end-to-end signal distribution for all broadcast and streaming partners, ensuring reliable, high-quality delivery of matches
• Oversee process implementation to ensure every output reaches its intended input from broadcast to streaming to social media encoding
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively to avoid disruptions
