Help us build the world around what we are building.

• We are looking for someone curious, high-energy, unusually online in the best possible way, and with a lot of taste. Someone who makes things already. Someone who notices the post, song, photographer, typeface, joke, person, party, or tiny corner of the internet before everyone else is talking about it.
• You will work as the second to our Reputation Lead, helping build the public world around Sunspell, our Founder, and the companies and products we are launching.
• A big part of that is building the profile of our Founder, Jasmine Eskandari, a design and technology founder whose work has shaped product launches and companies including Partiful, Flow Labs, Goldcast, Sentropy, Hala Systems, Descartes Labs, Realworld, and others. Now she is building Sunspell. There is a real story there that very few people know yet. You will help our Reputation Lead figure out how to tell it.
• You will also help introduce the products and companies coming out of Sunspell. One of the first will be a dating app, and it will probably be a forward focus, but it will not be the only thing you work on.
• You will have direction around you, particularly from our Reputation Lead, but a lot of the actual building will be yours. We also want you looking back at us: what are we missing, who should we know, what format should we try, and what corner of the internet are we late to?

The lab

Sunspell is a venture lab building companies at the edge of culture, design, and technology. Most studios build one company at a time. We are building the system that builds companies.

We create products from zero, develop the people who can lead them, and turn the lessons from every venture into shared infrastructure through our internal operating system, so each launch makes the next one faster. The beliefs underneath are simple: taste is the moat, systems compound, ownership beats consensus, and the best work is day‑one useful.

Almost nobody outside our orbit knows any of this yet. Changing that is the entire point of the seat you would be sitting in.

what-you-make

You will work closely with our Reputation Lead and the people setting creative and growth direction, then help turn that direction into something real.

• Shoot. Capture products, people, conversations, Jasmine, behind-the-scenes moments, events, experiments, and whatever else is worth seeing.
• Edit. Short‑form first. Move quickly in Cap Cut, Premiere, or whatever gets you to something good fastest.
• Write. Captions, short copy, questions, hooks, and the language around what we put into the world.
• Post. Help run the cadence across our accounts and know what needs to happen next without being chased.
• Community. Reply, listen, and notice what people care about, misunderstand, find funny, and want more of.
• Culture. Bring in references, formats, creators, photographers, sounds, spaces, ideas, and conversations.
• Pop‑ups and IRL. Help with events, activations, conversations, and weird little things around New York that make our companies feel alive.
• Archive. Keep what we make organized so the photo from three months ago still exists when it is suddenly exactly what we need.
• Build. Start seeing opportunities and making things because you think they should exist, even when the idea did not arrive as a finished brief.

• There is one real qualification for this seat and it is whether you can see. We would rather hire someone with an eye and no experience than someone with two years of scheduling posts and no point of view.
