Ear Out Playhouse is seeking an experienced, organized, and collaborative Stage Manager for the NYC premiere of CLASS, a two-person play by Charles Evered, directed by Jeffrey Meek.

This production marks the inaugural production of Ear Out Playhouse and the first play ever presented upstairs at the historic Ear Inn
, one of New York City’s oldest and most storied buildings. The production will take place in the intimate upstairs space of the Ear Inn at 326 Spring Street in Manhattan, creating a uniquely close connection between audience, actors, and the room itself.

COMPENSATION
$810 total compensation for the complete rehearsal and performance period
, including rehearsals beginning October 13 and performances November 10–22. This is the total compensation for the engagement

The Stage Manager will work closely with the director, producers, and two-person cast to support rehearsals and performances, maintain a smooth and professional production process, and help ensure the show runs safely and efficiently within this unique historic venue.

• Experienced stage manager with strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in an intimate, actor-driven production environment
• Collaborative, calm, resourceful, and detail-oriented
• Able to take ownership of production logistics while working closely with the creative team
• NYC-based and available for the full rehearsal/performance period preferred
