Creative Greensboro is looking for a Public Art and Cultural Programs Assistant to support the City's public art initiatives and Culture Works. This part-time opportunity is designed for a current college student or recent graduate who wants to explore arts administration, public art, event planning, community engagement, or the creative economy while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience.

You'll work alongside a team supporting projects that connect people, places, artists, and ideas throughout Greensboro. From researching artists and helping coordinate public art projects to supporting community events and preparing project materials, your work will contribute to a city where creativity, opportunity, and quality of life are part of what makes Greensboro special.

This is an opportunity to learn by doing, build your professional network, and see how arts and cultural programs can create community impact.

Compensation
  • Hiring Rate: $18/hour
  • Pay Grade: 31
  • Active Roster Temporary position
  • Approximately 15–20 hours per week

Work Schedule

This is a primarily in-person position based at Creative Greensboro
.

  • Approximately 15–20 hours per week
  • Scheduling flexibility around academic commitments when possible
  • Limited hybrid work may be permitted for specific assignments with prior supervisor approval
  • Applicants should expect to work on-site for the majority of scheduled hours
  • Some evening or weekend availability may be required for events
