Job Description ELIGIBILITY:Students must be Work Study Eligible (as determined by Financial Aid)
WORK SCHEDULE:Flexible schedule between Monday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Works up to 19 hours per week.
DRESS CODE:Business casual with appropriate coverage
POSITION PURPOSE/ROLESupport the FVCC Food Pantry operations under the supervision of the Student Engagement Program Director.
POSITION DUTIES- Perform customer service by greeting clients
- Process intake and distribution of pantry items
- Stock food pantry
- Maintain the organization and neatness of the food pantry
- Assist with ordering food items for the pantry
- Create, promote, and implement monthly events
- Promote the food pantry on campus through various forms of media
- Research and provide basic needs resources
- May perform other duties as requested.
- Ability to ensure and maintain client confidentiality and privacy;
- Ability to provide customer service and interact pleasantly and professionally with clients and staff; and
- Possess good organizational skills.

STUDENT EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES:- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits for fall or spring semester to qualify for student employment.
- Students may not work beyond 19 hours per week during semester.
- Student workers shall be actively engaged; no use of cell phones (except in case of emergency) or social media.
- Student workers shall demonstrate a commitment to the job with adherence to work schedule, effective communication/interpersonal skills, and quality customer service skills to be a representative of FVCC.
