Van Ausdall & Farrar (VAF) is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Print & Customer Service Specialist (Resource Center Specialist) to support our customers at their locations throughout the Indianapolis area.
This isn't your typical desk job. Depending on the customer location you're supporting, your day may include producing printed materials, helping employees with print or meeting-room needs, processing mail, providing front desk or administrative support, or simply making sure our customer's workplace runs smoothly.
You'll be trained across our customer locations so you can confidently step in and provide coverage when needed. If you're someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, likes helping people, and can be counted on to show up ready to work, this could be a great fit.
Pay:$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday; scheduled hours fall between 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., depending on customer coverage needs

Your responsibilities will vary based on the customer location you're supporting. You'll be cross-trained across our customer sites and processes so you're prepared to provide excellent service wherever you're needed.
Customer Service & Site Support- Provide friendly, professional and responsive customer service.
- Build positive working relationships with customers and become a trusted, dependable resource at their location.
- Keep the Resource Center Manager informed of site activities, customer needs and issues that could impact the customer relationship.
- Take initiative and look for ways to assist customers and teammates during available time.
- Manage competing priorities and organize your work to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
- Follow customer-site and VAF policies regarding attendance, dress, security and customer experience.
- Become cross-trained on processes and responsibilities across VAF customer locations.
- Operate high-volume print and production equipment.
- Produce and assemble booklets, manuals, packets, marketing materials and other printed documents.
- Complete scanning and document projects.
- Support bulk-mail projects and other mail services.
- Troubleshoot basic print and copy equipment issues and elevate service needs to a technician when necessary.
- Submit initial service requests for equipment requiring additional support.
- Maintain organized, efficient production and work areas.
- Prior print-production experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person.
- Provide front-desk coverage.
- Answer phones and monitor email.
- Greet customers, employees and visitors.
- Assist with general administrative tasks.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Complete onsite and offsite mail runs, including pickup and delivery.
- Assist with conference and meeting-room readiness.
- Troubleshoot basic virtual-meeting equipment issues.
- Provide other administrative services based on the customer's specific needs.
Because this position provides coverage across multiple customer locations, reliable transportation and the ability to travel between sites are essential.
