Position: Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) / Dental Assistant

As our EDDA, you'll play a pivotal role in patient care, from placing intricate restorations to shaping them to perfection. You'll be the backbone of the dental office, preparing for treatments, managing records, and assisting our dentists in delivering exceptional care.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing exam rooms and sterilizing instruments.
- Assisting dentists during various procedures.
- Taking and processing patient X-rays.
- Handling lab work and advising patients on oral hygiene.
- Updating and maintaining accurate dental records.
- Education: High School diploma/GED
- EDDA Certification (plus)
- Post-high-school education is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in a dental or medical office.
- Experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Coronal polishing certification is a plus
- Additional certifications or training are highly valued
