Requirements

• Education: DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from an accredited dental school.
• Licensure: Current dental license (or eligibility to obtain licensure by start date) in Idaho.
• Certification: DEA license, Idaho controlled substance registration, NPI number, current BLS.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience practicing general dentistry or 1-year GPR/AEGD, preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply.

Strong clinical skills with a broad knowledge of general dentistry procedures.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex dental issues in simple terms.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and with diverse patient populations.

• Diagnose and Treat Oral Health Conditions:
  Conduct thorough dental examinations, develop treatment plans, and provide services such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and dentures.
• Preventive Care:
  Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care to reduce the risk of oral disease.
• Patient Care:
  Provide exceptional, patient-centered care while maintaining a compassionate and approachable demeanor to help ease patient concerns and build trust.
• Treatment Planning:
  Develop customized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings, considering patient needs, health status, and available resources.
