20–25 Hours per Week | No Weekends | Opportunity for Full-Time Are you an experienced dental billing professional who enjoys insurance follow-up and solving challenging claims—but is tired of constant interruptions from phones, front desk duties, and walk-in patients? Dental Office Support (DOS) provides remote insurance verification and revenue cycle management services to dental practices nationwide. We're growing and are looking for an experienced team member who can make an immediate contribution.
There are no verification responsibilities for this position. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Submit electronic dental claims Resolve claim rejections and denials Post insurance payments accurately Follow up on outstanding insurance claims Review x-rays and attachments to support successful claim adjudication Assist in maintaining exceptional service for multiple dental practices This is not an entry-level position. We'll train you on DOS systems and workflows, but you should already be comfortable performing the day-to-day dental insurance billing responsibilities independently.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum 4 years of dental office experience. At least 2 years of dental assisting experience, or 5+ years of dental billing experience. Experience with one or more of the following:
Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental, Curve, Dentrix Ascend. Strong understanding of electronic dental claims and insurance reimbursement. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Leadership ability is a plus, as opportunities exist to mentor junior team members and support multiple client practices
