Patient Coordinator – Full TimeCambridge Dental Group – Dearborn Heights, MI
Join Our Team!
Cambridge Dental Group is a busy, growing dental practice in Dearborn Heights, and we’re looking for an experienced Patient Coordinator to join our front office team.
If you’re organized, personable, confident with patients, and have a strong understanding of dental scheduling and insurance, we’d love to meet you!
MUST HAVE 1+ YEAR OF DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE
Schedule- Full-time position
- Alternating Saturdays required
- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience from check-in to check-out
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and treatment
- Coordinate referrals and complex treatment schedules
- Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Collect patient payments and explain financial policies
- Follow up on outstanding patient balances
- Maintain accurate patient records and appointment information
- Communicate with clinical team members to ensure a smooth patient experience
- Help keep the front office running efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- 1+ year of dental office experience required
- Previous dental front office experience strongly preferred
- Experience with dental insurance verification, claims, and billing
- Knowledge of PPO and Medicaid insurance is a plus
- Experience with Open Dental preferred
- Strong scheduling and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume dental environment

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience.
FLSA Status: Hourly
Reports to: Operations Manager.
