$41.00–$46.25/hour, based on experience and licensure

Variety working between our Somersworth and Portsmouth locations with the team

As a Dental Hygienist at Greater Seacoast Health, you'll play an important role in helping our patients achieve and maintain better oral health.

You’ll:

Provide comprehensive dental hygiene and preventive services

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, sealant applications, fluoride treatments, and other services within your scope of practice

Assess oral and periodontal health and identify individual patient needs

Provide personalized oral-health education and counseling

Help patients understand the connection between oral health and their overall health

Document assessments, treatment, and patient interactions accurately in the dental record

Work closely with dentists and other members of the Dental Team to coordinate patient care

Collaborate with professionals across our medical and behavioral health teams when appropriate

Maintain safe, clean clinical areas in accordance with OSHA standards and organizational policies

Follow infection‑control and proper disposal procedures

Respond professionally and compassionately to patient questions and concerns

Maintain required professional licensure and certifications

Required:

Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program

Current license to practice Dental Hygiene in the State of New Hampshire

Current CPR certification

Build trust easily with patients and make them feel comfortable in the dental chair

Enjoy educating patients and helping them improve their oral health

Communicate clearly and compassionately

Are comfortable caring for patients with a wide range of backgrounds and healthcare needs

Enjoy being part of a collaborative team

Are flexible and comfortable working with the Dental Team between our Somersworth and Portsmouth locations

Understand that social, economic, and other barriers can affect a patient's ability to access and maintain oral healthcare

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Somersworth & Portsmouth, New Hampshire

This position works collaboratively with our Dental Team and alternates between our Somersworth and Portsmouth health centers based on the team's schedule and patient needs.

$41.00–$46.25 per hour
