Orthodontic Assistant

Location: Montgomery, AL
Schedule: Full-Time | 35-40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team in Montgomery, AL! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on orthodontic assisting experience.

• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
• Prepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures
• Assist with bonding, debonding, wire changes, adjustments, and other orthodontic procedures
• Provide patients and parents with instructions on appliances, retainers, elastics, and at-home care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment areas
• Accurately document treatment and patient information
• Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Provide a friendly, positive experience for our patients and families
• Support the clinical and Admin team wherever needed

• Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required
• Dental assisting experience in a busy clinical environment
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, instruments, and infection-control protocols
• Strong communication and patient-service skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Current certifications required by the State of Alabama, as applicable

• Approximately 35-40 hours per week

$19 - $22 biweekly
