Morton Dental Group is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to support clinical excellence, strengthen back-office operations, and help develop a high-performing assisting team.

- Lead the Dental Assistant team through clear expectations, coaching, and daily support
- Provide excellent chairside assistance for restorative, cosmetic, implant, surgical, and specialty procedures
- Direct and stabilize back-office workflow during busy or challenging situations
- Ensure operatories, surgical setups, instruments, implant components, and lab cases are prepared
- Support radiographs, intraoral scanning, imaging, and other digital workflows
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Protect OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, infection-control, and patient-safety standards
- Monitor clinical inventory, supplies, equipment repairs, and operational needs
- Participate in morning huddles and help maintain efficient patient flow
- Train and support new Dental Assistants
- Identify workflow gaps and partner with dentists and office leadership on solutions
- Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout treatment
- Model professionalism, accountability, organization, and teamwork
We are looking for a clinically skilled and emotionally mature Dental Assistant who is ready to lead. The right candidate stays calm under pressure, anticipates needs, communicates directly and professionally, and takes ownership of the team’s organization and performance.
Qualifications- Dental Assistant certification or registration as required by state law
- Strong four-handed dentistry and clinical workflow skills
- Knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and operatory management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced practice
Leadership, mentoring, or training experience is preferred. Experience with implants, oral surgery, orthodontic workflows, expanded functions, digital technology, or Care Stack is highly valued.

Clinal providers have a 4 day work week. Specific scheduled days and hours will be discussed during the interview process. No nights or weekends. Office Patient hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
