* Job Summary:

** A Dental Assistant supports dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality oral care to patients. They perform a mix of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the dental office runs smoothly and efficiently.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
* Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, extractions, and cleanings
* Take and develop dental X-rays
* Record patient medical histories and treatment information
* Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions
* Manage patient appointments, billing, and recordkeeping
* Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
* Maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials
* Support patient comfort and address any concerns during visits## Qualifications

Qualifications:

*** Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Proficiency with dental software and office systems
* Certification in radiography and CPR (as required by state regulations)

*** High school diploma or equivalent required
* Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
* On-the-job training or prior experience in a dental office is an advantage
