What you need to know
** Proposed Salary:**$71,570.00 annually based on selected candidates qualifications.
** Work Schedule/

Location:

** Located in Dallas, TX, this an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.

** Responsibilities
* *** Direct Patient Care
*** Plans and prepares oral prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning, and other preventative services for patients.
* Applies current knowledge of technical and clinical aspects of dental hygiene while treating patients.
* Provide education to patients on preventative and oral health care.
* Completes oral screenings and assessments of new patients and develops oral care plans.
* Review patient histories for proper precautions and record medical treatment in patient charts.
* Provides patient care to a minimum of four to five patients per day, depending on the demands of the schedule.
** Clinical Administration
*** Works with the patient scheduler to ensure patients are aware of their appointment, making pre- and post-follow-up calls.
* Works with referring dental offices to serve incoming patient needs as well as existing patients.
** Required

Education and Experience:

*** Associates degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Three years of experience in a dental clinic.
** Required Licenses and

Certifications:

*** Dental Hygienist License

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** More than three years of experience in dental clinic.
* Local anesthesia or nitrous oxide certification.
* Knowledge of infection control and OSHA compliance.
* Experience working in high volume educational institute.
* Advanced knowledge of dental terminology.
