Dental Assistant

Park Slope Dental Aesthetics is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our rapidly growing team in New York City. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of dental assisting experience who is reliable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast- paced dental office.

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for supporting the dentist and clinical team with daily patient care, including:

• Assisting the dentist during exams, procedures, and treatments
• Preparing treatment rooms and setting up instruments
• Taking and processing dental X-rays
• Sterilizing instruments and following infection control protocols
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
• Reviewing patient charts and preparing for scheduled appointments
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
• Restocking supplies and keeping operatories ready throughout the day
• Communicating clearly with the dentist, front desk, and other team members

• 2-3 years of dental assisting experience required
• Experience working in a dental office is a must
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control standards
• X-ray experience required
• Dentrix experience is a plus
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work in a busy office environment
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required
