Location: Central City
MKC Architects has multiple immediate openings for a Project Architect in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking applicants with 5+ years of professional experience, a design and technical focus, and a proven ability to lead projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking and problem‑solving creativity while preparing documentation for delivering public and private architectural projects.
Incumbent Responsibilities- Think, do, and manage – be a leader and a hands‑on contributor.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers across all phases of architectural projects.
- Interact confidently with clients.
- Develop contract documents and provide construction administration.
- Use current software platforms (Revit) to develop contract documents.
- Undertake complex project delivery tasks as required.
- Master’s Degree or another professional degree in Architecture (or a 5‑year
B.Arch). - Registered architect license or near‑completion of licensure.
- Minimum five years of architectural work experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Creativity and passion for architecture.
