About the Job

JPI is seeking an Architectural Project Coordinator to support the design, production, and construction administration of multifamily projects. This position reports directly to the Director of Architectural Production and plays a key role within the Architectural Production Studio by helping coordinate design efforts across all project phases. The ideal candidate will bring 3–7 years of multifamily experience and a strong ability to support architectural production in a fast‑paced environment.

This role offers hands‑on exposure to schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration, while working closely with Project Architects, Studio Directors, consultants, and internal JPI teams. The Architectural Project Coordinator helps transform design concepts into coordinated drawing sets, supports consultant integration, and assists with construction‑phase documentation to ensure smooth project delivery.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination:
    Support the Architectural Project Manager in coordinating multiple projects through all phases from schematic design to construction administration.
  • Assist with tracking project schedules, deliverables, and coordination items to ensure milestones are met.
  • Help organize internal and external coordination meetings, page turns, and design reviews.
  • Design and Documentation:
    Assist in the production and coordination of schematic design (SD), design development (DD), and construction documents (CD).
  • Utilize a kit of parts approach to architectural design, leveraging pre‑approved components to streamline the design process and maximize efficiency.
