We are partnering with one of the largest and most respected electrical contractors in the United States to identify a Sr. BIM Designer for multiple growing offices. Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality 2D and 3D electrical models using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Create construction documents, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with project teams, design professionals, and trade partners to identify and resolve clashes.
- Produce detailed installation and coordination drawings for field operations.
- Conduct field surveys and document existing site conditions when necessary.
- Create prefab drawings, fabrication details, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Support electrical power and lighting layouts, circuiting, switching, and design efforts.
- Respond to construction administration requests and drawing revisions throughout project life cycles.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of electrical BIM/design experience in a construction or consulting environment.
- Strong proficiency with:
- Revit
- Navisworks
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- AutoCAD
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Evolve software experience.
- Data center, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction experience.
- Experience supporting prefabrication and constructability initiatives.
Base Salary: $100,000 - $110,000+ (depending on experience)
