Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Administrator to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ.
Our firm is a growing, healthcare-focused architectural practice of approximately 40-50 professionals. We work on consequential projects for hospitals, health systems, rural healthcare providers, and specialty care organizations throughout Arizona and the surrounding region. Our work includes new hospitals, major renovations and expansions, emergency departments, surgical platforms, imaging, cardiac services, women's services, inpatient units, pharmacies, sterile processing departments, and other technically demanding healthcare environments.
The Construction Administrator is responsible for overseeing the construction phase of architectural projects to ensure that work is executed in accordance with contract documents, design intent, quality standards, budget requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and field observations.
- Review submittals and RFIs.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants.
- Document construction progress and issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards.
- Intermediate role managing construction documentation and coordination.
- Supports project teams and ensures compliance with healthcare standards.
- Strong commitment to upholding, promoting, and reinforcing the Firm's standards, processes, values, and forward-focused initiatives across all client-related activities.
- Maintains a professional, respectful, and accountable office environment by modeling appropriate behavior and etiquette.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor junior designers and architectural staff.
- Contribute to business development efforts and healthcare market growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5-8+ years of architectural design experience or construction administration experience.
- Has managed RFIs, submittals, ASIs, and field reports with minimal oversight, has performed regular site visits, and has supported or led CA tasks through multiple project phases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Can read and interpret drawings and specs, uses Bluebeam for coordination, navigates Revit for verification, manages CA software workflows like Procore or Newforma, and maintains clear, accurate construction documentation.
