We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Architect with 2 to 4 years of professional experience to support architectural and project delivery activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing skills and hands-on experience with CAD, shop drawings, estimating, and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and revise architectural drawings using AutoCAD/CAD software.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Support quantity takeoffs, estimating, and project costing.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Assist with architectural contract review, including identifying scope requirements, specifications, and deliverables.
- Support order processing and procurement, ensuring quantities, specifications, and project requirements are accurately reflected in orders.
- Incorporate revisions and project changes into drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, vendors, and other team members to resolve drawing or documentation questions.
- Maintain organized and accurate project drawings, estimates, contracts, and order documentation.
Identify and flag discrepancies between drawings, specifications, estimates, and orders for review by senior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of professional architectural experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and architectural drafting.
- Experience preparing or reviewing shop drawings and construction documents.
- Familiarity with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and project costing.
- Basic understanding of architectural contracts, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Experience with procurement or order processing is an advantage.
- Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, dimensions, and construction methods.
