BIM Technician

SFS Architecture is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Technician with approximately 2-5+ years of professional Revit/BIM experience to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The BIM Technician will support project teams by developing coordinated Revit models and construction documents, incorporating design and consultant information, and helping maintain strong BIM standards. The ideal candidate is technically minded, organized, and takes pride in producing accurate, buildable documents.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in architecture, architectural technology, drafting, construction technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Approximately 2-5+ years of professional Revit/BIM experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam Revu; working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction document production.
• Working knowledge of architectural detailing, building assemblies, and consultant coordination, with the ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, model/file management, communication, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Navisworks, point clouds, Matterport, or Dynamo is beneficial.

• Develop and maintain architectural Revit models used to produce plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and sheets.
• Support project teams from conceptual design through construction documents, including model and drawing updates during construction.
• Incorporate redlines, design revisions, consultant information, and project changes accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, civil, MEP, landscape, aquatic, and other consultant models; identify and help resolve conflicts.
• Maintain model organization, sheet standards, views, worksets, links, families, and other BIM components.
• Assist with existing-condition modeling using field measurements, point clouds, Matterport data, record drawings, and other documentation.
• Support model and drawing quality-control processes and troubleshoot day-to-day Revit issues prior to project milestones and issuance.
• Assist with development and maintenance of SFS Revit templates, families, libraries, details, and BIM standards.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve BIM workflows, efficiency, coordination, and document quality.
