Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Wall Panel Designer to join our engineering and manufacturing team. You will be responsible for designing cold-formed steel (also known as light-gauge steel) wall panels using specialized engineering software. This role involves transforming architectural and structural blueprints into precise, code-compliant layouts and shop drawings for manufacturing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed layouts of CFS wall panels, including load-bearing and non-load-bearing systems.
• Generate accurate shop drawings, cutting lists, and assembly instructions for the production floor.
• Work closely with structural engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams (BIM) to provide creative and economical framing solutions.
• Review designs for accuracy, manufacturing feasibility, and material optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Background in structural steel detailing or metal stud framing; cold-formed steel design experience is a plus.
• Experience with Autodesk software including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture and Revit.
• Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills; ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
• High School Diploma required;
  Associate technical degree preferred.
