We are looking for a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology services, including upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and ERCP procedures of moderate complexity.
- Manage a diverse patient population, often presenting with complex medical and non-compliant conditions, requiring excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborate with support staff and participate in shared call responsibilities, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice while adhering to schedule and procedural protocols.
- Board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Proven experience performing upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCP procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
- Ability to manage complex patient cases with professionalism and compassion.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (specific system TBD).
Skills:
- Experience with advanced procedures such as EUS.
- Familiarity with working in a high-volume or challenging patient environment.
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active medical licensure in the state.
- At least 2 years of post-training clinical experience in gastroenterology.
- Prior experience in a similar outpatient or hospital setting.
- Credentialing process estimated at approximately three months, including Medicare and Medicaid enrollment.
- Availability for clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Flexibility for shared call responsibilities with other providers, either on-site or off-site (details TBD).
- Willingness to travel for licensure, certification, and other reimbursements as applicable.
- Participation in ongoing professional development and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
