Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services to patients
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret test results
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology
- Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings
- Educate patients on gastrointestinal health and preventive care
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in gastroenterology, preferably as a locum tenens
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
Schedule:
8-hour day shifts
Duties:
Clinic, elective cases, and emergency call coverage
Required Procedures:
Endoscopies, ERCP, biopsies, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, etc.
Support Staff: APP
EMR:
Meditech
Dictation: DAX and Dragon
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
