Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician – Make a Meaningful Impact in Patient Care
Are you a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician seeking a rewarding opportunity to deliver exceptional care in an outpatient setting? We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team, providing vital services to patients while enjoying a dynamic, supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology care in a low-volume, supportive clinic setting.
- Manage approximately 15 patients per day independently, with the support of Advanced Practice Providers and three colleagues.
- Support a diverse patient population within a flexible schedule, working 3-5 days per week.
- Utilize Meditech EMR to document and coordinate patient care effectively.
- Attend to patients on a consistent schedule, primarily daytime hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no calls after hours.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology.
- Recent patient-facing clinical experience in outpatient settings.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
Skills:
- Experience in low-volume clinics or solo provider environments.
- Familiarity with outpatient oncology and hematology procedures.
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Additional certifications or training relevant to oncology.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of post-certification clinical practice in Hematology/Oncology.
- Recent completion of fellowship or specialized training preferred.
- Ability to secure appropriate licensure and privileging within approximately 60 days.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment.
- Availability for a 12-month contract starting April 27, 2026.
- Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements as applicable.
Hourly Pay Rate: $479.70
