The pediatric hospitalist is on-site for rounding and notes, then can take calls from home/hotel, usually around lunch if work is complete. Not required to attend deliveries or c-sections. No APP to supervise.

Babies room with Moms now, so rounding is on the unit. FM residents and students will be rounding with the peds hospitalist.
