About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Hospitalist Medicine Physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis. You will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care to hospitalized patients at our 211-bed facility, serving Southern Kentucky and surrounding areas. An Accredited Chest Pain Center A Certified Primary Stroke Center In addition to renowned emergency care, we offer a wide range of specialty services, including orthopedics, neurology, surgery, and state-of-the-art cardiology care. We are also home to Kentucky's first remote system for treating heart failure patients. What You'll Do Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Perform necessary procedures as needed. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Manage patient medications effectively. Document medical records accurately and comprehensively. Communicate clearly and collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Who You Are Board certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (FM). Active Kentucky medical license is mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Hospital Medicine is preferred.
You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of medical conditions. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are essential. You demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
