Overview

We are a private practice seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their health and well‑being through expert diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment with access to advanced medical technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic, as well as familiarity with pediatric‑specific procedures and conditions, is highly valued.

Duties
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients to diagnose illnesses and monitor growth and development.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, immunizations, and health counseling.
  • Coordinate care with specialists in areas such as neonatology, pediatric critical & intensive care, family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), orthopedics, and behavioral health.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using our EMR system Athena.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance, nutrition, injury prevention, and family planning.
  • Stay current with medical terminology updates, CPT coding standards for billing purposes, and emerging trends in pediatric medicine.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding (ICD/CPT) for billing purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and family education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics and hospital settings including Level I & II trauma centers or critical care units such as PICU or NICU.
