Job Overview

A hospital in Northern Kentucky is seeking an Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist for locum tenens coverage, primarily during daytime patient care with night and weekend call requirements from February to May.

• Provide daytime patient care (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) in Interventional Radiology.
• Conduct night call (4:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.) and weekend call, ending Mondays at 8:00 a.m.
• Perform body IR procedures, including paras, thoras, biopsies, drains, tunneled/non‑tunneled dialysis catheters, port placements, and nephrostomy tubes.
• Serve as the sole provider for the assigned duties, coordinating with hospital staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology (BC‑IR) is required.
• Must have valid BLS and DEA credentials.
• Minimum of two years of case logs in body IR procedures.
• Hospital privileges are required.

Day shift, night call, and weekend call with 24‑hour call coverage and 8 hours of patient care expected Monday‑Friday. Call requirements are on an on‑site Government hospital location.
