Locum - Physician - Hospitalist Irvine, KY

Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Practice Physician to provide full-spectrum inpatient hospital coverage at Mercy Health Marcum and Wallace, delivering continuous 24-hour care in a high-responsibility locum tenens role where the provider serves as the sole physician covering inpatient and nursing home call duties during each assigned block.

• Dates needed:
  July 3 (8a) - 6 (8a)
• Shift times: 7a 7a (24-hour coverage)
• Average census: 14 with approx. those SWING
• Practice setting:
  Hospital inpatient coverage

  Unrestricted call while not onsite at MW Hospital (while not making rounds), including nursing home call coverage in the county
• Call Ratio:
  This physician will be the only provider taking call during these shifts
• Will Other Internal Medicine Physicians Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates? No
• How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage: 1 Physician Assistant

• 25-bed hospital
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Adult and Geriatric patient population
• On-site Lab and Radiology services
• Documentation System:
  Epic EMR
• OB volume: 0 patients/day

• Rates: ***/24 hours with a minimum of 4 hours gratis.
• Call Back: ***/hour of patient contact hours to apply after gratis hours.
