Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon to join a well-supported community hospital in rural Pennsylvania
. This is a full-time employed opportunity with a respected nonprofit health system, offering strong support, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow a meaningful general surgery practice.

This position is ideal for a surgeon who values traditional hands-on general surgery
, continuity of care, and the chance to make a direct impact in a close-knit community. The surgeon will perform a broad range of bread-and-butter general surgery cases, including laparoscopic procedures, gallbladder surgery, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, bowel procedures, and related general surgery cases

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency Program
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
• Ability to obtain required hospital credentials
• DEA certification required
