Located in beautiful Prescott, Arizona, this well-established private practice offers a long-term opportunity for an Optometrist who is passionate about delivering personalized medical eye care, building lasting patient relationships, and working alongside a supportive, close-knit team.

If you’re looking for a practice where clinical excellence and genuine patient connection come together, Premier Eye Center is a place where you can grow your career and feel right at home.

Why join us?

Since 2001, Premier Eye Center has been dedicated to building lasting relationships with patients and supporting their visual and eye care needs for a lifetime. The practice provides a wide range of medical optometry services, including diagnosing and treating ocular diseases such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye, as well as co-managing cataract surgeries, fitting scleral and specialty contact lenses, and caring for patients with complex visual needs.

With a strong reputation in the Prescott community, a well-trained support team, and access to advanced technology, Premier Eye Center offers an environment where doctors can provide meaningful, personalized care while feeling supported by a team that values both clinical excellence and great patient experiences.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive medical optometry care in a private practice setting, including refractions, contact lens fittings, medical eye exams, cataract surgery co-management, punctal plugs, and treatment for a wide range of ocular conditions. You’ll have access to advanced technology and diagnostic tools such as Ret Eval, OCT, Matrix, Forma/Lumecca, Tear Care, A-scan, topography, scleral lenses, digital imaging, and a large optical, allowing you to deliver thorough, personalized care for each patient.

This position offers a 36‑hour workweek with an average of 30 patients seen per day between all doctors, supported by well‑trained staff and a patient‑centered team culture shaped by founder Dr. Matt Sullivan, where the atmosphere feels more like a family than just a job.

Who you are:

You’re an enthusiastic and motivated Optometrist who is licensed to practice in Arizona and brings one to two years of optometry experience, along with the confidence to diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions. The ideal candidate is medically trained, comfortable managing patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other complex visual needs, and experienced with contact lens exams and fittings.

This opportunity offers the flexibility to work four or five days a week with no nights or weekends, making it a great fit for someone who wants to provide high‑quality medical eye care while maintaining a balanced schedule.
