Applications are invited for a full-time/part‑time faculty position as an Academic Nephrologist in the Department of Pediatrics at Albany Med Health System and Albany Medical College. We seek an outstanding board‑certified/board‑eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join a vigorous clinical program focused on the diagnosis and care of children with kidney diseases. The successful applicant will be the second or third member of the division.
The division provides critical clinical and academic services supporting the missions of the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med Health System and Albany Medical College. Outstanding clinical care and recognized teaching excellence are the cornerstones of the group. The division oversees the onsite Pediatric Dialysis Unit and contributes to a multispecialty outpatient pediatrics program, including multidisciplinary and satellite clinics.
- Provide diagnosis and care of children with kidney diseases.
- Oversee the onsite Pediatric Dialysis Unit.
- Participate in the multispecialty outpatient pediatrics program, including multidisciplinary and satellite clinics.
- Engage in teaching house staff and medical students.
Competitive base salary range for Assistant Professor $,900. Additional rank to be determined based on experience.
