HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is a 330-bed, full-service acute care facility serving the Emerald Coast and surrounding tri-county area. As the region's only Level II Trauma Center, the hospital delivers advanced, comprehensive care across a wide range of specialties. The facility offers a robust surgical program, including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedic/spine, robotic-assisted, and minimally invasive procedures. It features state-of-the‑art operating rooms, a dedicated cardiovascular OR team, and a specialized surgical recovery unit.

The open-heart program is highly regarded and supported by an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a full spectrum of cardiac services. Additional services include cardiovascular and neonatal intensive care units, a Primary Stroke Center, inpatient rehabilitation, behavioral health services, and a comprehensive emergency department with main, pediatric, and express ERs.
