What You’ll Do:

Perform general GI procedures: EGD, colonoscopies, biopsies, and polypectomy
Conduct advanced procedures including ERCP (moderate complexity) and esophageal/stent placement
Manage patient populations with complex needs, including non-compliant and critically ill patients
Respond to emergency consults within 30 minutes offsite, and routine calls within 12 hours
Collaborate with support staff to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care
Document procedures using Meditech EMR
Engage in patient education and build rapport with diverse patient groups

What You Need:

Valid state medical license, board certification in Gastroenterology strongly preferred
Minimum of 2 years of GI procedural experience
Proficiency in ERCP, biopsies, stent placement, and other GI interventions
Strong communication and patient relationship skills
