What You’ll Do

Perform advanced procedural interventions such as ERCP, esophageal and luminal stent placement, biopsies, and hemostasis
Conduct routine procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and sigmoidoscopies
Manage acute and chronic GI cases, often with patients who are non-compliant or acutely ill
Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care
Respond to emergency consultations within specified response times
Document procedures using Meditech EMR system
Participate in shared call responsibilities, mainly off-site with response times within 30 minutes for emergencies

What You Need
Required:

Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Valid KY medical license
Experience with general GI procedures, including colonoscopy and EGD
Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred:

Experience performing ERCP
Previous work in a hospital or outpatient setting with acutely ill patients
