• Perform advanced cranial neurosurgical procedures including:
  • Open and endoscopic skull base surgery
  • Open vascular neurosurgery
  • Subcortical white matter surgery
  • Neuroplastic and reconstructive procedures
• Collaborate with an internationally recognized multidisciplinary team including:
  • Neurosurgery
  • Subspecialty ENT / Skull Base
  • Neuro-oncology
  • Neurointerventional and Neurocritical Care teams
• Established 24/7 support with neuro-hospitalists, neurointensivists, and endovascular specialists
• Access to integrated ORs with advanced imaging, navigation, and robotic exoscope technology
• Flexible clinic and OR scheduling
• Participation in a next-generation, interdisciplinary care model across the region
• Strong research infrastructure with clinical trial opportunities
• Academic appointment available
• MD/DO required
• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship training in Skull Base Surgery and/or Neuro-Oncology preferred
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure

The 509-bed campus is a comprehensive stroke center and represents one of the largest facilities in northern suburbs of Chicago and the largest campus within the Health System. The team, led by internationally recognized neurosurgeons and provides comprehensive and personalized treatment for a wide range of neurological conditions. They are experts in brain tumors, spinal, ear, head & neck, eye procedures, cerebrovascular diseases, pituitary disorders, skull base diseases, facial pain, cranial nerve disorders, and general neurology.

The Neurosciences Institute will grow to integrate and house a full suite of physicians and providers with state-of-the art ORs equipped with the latest in innovative navigation technology.
