Position Description

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School has a full time position available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on experience, for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician, as a REI subspecialist, in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Rank and salary commensurate with experience. We seek faculty who will join a highly collaborative REI team in providing the full scope of care across the subspecialty, educating the next generation of physicians, and advancing the field through cutting‑edge research.

Faculty provide clinical REI / GYN services at University Hospital as well as at RBHS affiliates. Services provided include infertility care and assisted reproductive technologies at our recently renovated, state‑of‑the‑art IVF lab, fertility preservation services, reproductive surgery, hormone therapy, evaluation and management of PCOS /androgen disorders and other disorders of the reproductive endocrine system. Our faculty perform research across the spectrum of basic, translational science and clinical trials;

candidates who qualify and are interested in protected research time should consider applying. In addition, the Division has a longstanding, ACGME – accredited REI fellowship program and the applicant must have strong interest in teaching and supervising fellows, residents and medical students.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Qualified candidates must be board eligible/certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Consideration will also be given to individuals graduating from REI fellowship in 2026 or 2027 who have not yet obtained all required licensure or board eligibility. Offer letter may be provided to finalist prior to completing fellowship, but documentation of all required licensure and board eligibility must be provided prior to first day of employment didate must demonstrate experience and competence in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility clinical care including surgery, assisted reproductive technologies, management of reproductive endocrine disorders and clinical and/or translational investigation.

Certifications/Licenses

Candidate must be able to possess a valid NJ medical license, CDS and DEA by the first day of employment at Rutgers.
