OverviewWell Span Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist for ongoing inpatient hospital coverage in York, PA. Coverage includes emergency GI procedures and night call coverage in a hospital-based practice setting.
Schedule10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Patient Volume
Total census: 30–50
New consults: 9–16 per day
ProceduresGeneral GI procedures
Endoscopy coverage
Emergency GI procedures
No ERCP
No EUS
APP Support
APPs assist with consults and follow-ups
Physician discusses patient management with APP team
RequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Active Pennsylvania License – Required
DEA – Required
Minimum 1 year experience required
Credentialing
Approximately 90 days
