  OBGYN, 4 APPs, and 2 midwives

• 500-600 births/year

• 7 24-hour shifts/month

• Level II NICU staffed
  24 hoursby Pediatric Hospitalists&NICU Nurses with access to an on-site blood bank.

• Teaching opportunity- FM Residents(in L&D 24/7) & Medical Students

• In-house specialists available for consultation/collaboration in patient care, i.e., Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, etc.
• Collaborative relationship with Mercy One Des Moines Perinatology to support high-risk obstetric management and seamless specialty consultation.

• Regional health system covering

QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician bycompletionofan appropriate residency program;board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license;
Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
