About the Position:
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health for Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health is seeking a Child Psychiatrist for an inpatient position at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA.
The candidate would provide inpatient services as part of a care team focused on patient recovery and family engagement. The multidisciplinary team includes nurses, therapists, psychiatrists, hospitalists, social workers, recreational therapists, and art therapists. Learners on the unit include medical students, residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, nursing students, and social work students. The newly renovated inpatient unit has 21 beds, with 3 separate wings to care for 15 adolescents and 6 children in private or semi-private rooms.

Our department includes 10 divisions of psychiatrists, psychologists, advanced practice providers, and therapists who provide care across six specialty and 22 integrated outpatient clinics throughout south-central Pennsylvania. We deliver inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry services at several Penn State Health hospitals. Our comprehensive service lines include general and specialty adult and child psychiatry and psychology, sleep medicine and behavioral sleep medicine, eating disorders, autism spectrum services, neuromodulation, integrated behavioral health, addiction treatment and recovery services, partial hospitalization programs, and consultation-liaison psychiatry.
Inpatient services are based at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and feature 84 beds within newly renovated units dedicated to older adult, adult, adolescent, child, and high‑acuity psychiatric care. Multidisciplinary teams work closely with patients and families to support recovery and promote long‑term wellness.
