The Renaissance School of Medicine, Stony Brook University, Department of Anesthesiology, is recruiting for a Physician/Pediatric Anesthesiologist. The candidate will provide anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery or other procedures, and will provide consultation before and after the anesthetic procedure. The candidate will be actively engaged in the instruction and/or supervision of medical students, resident physicians, and certified registered nurse anesthetists.

An active role in clinical and/or basic research will be strongly encouraged.

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree.
• Board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology & Pediatric Anesthesia.
• Completed, or currently attending, an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia.
• Candidates must hold licensure, or, be eligible for licensure as a Physician in New York State.

• Interest and Skilled in the provision of regional analgesia to infants and neonates.
• Interest in pursuit of clinical research.

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine ( School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure ).
