Orthopedic Physician Assistant
We welcome both experienced Physician Assistants and new graduates with orthopedic experience or a strong interest in orthopedic surgery.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible New York State Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification required
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skills
- Opportunity Details:
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients in both clinic and hospital settings
- First assist in the operating room alongside orthopedic surgeons
- Perform inpatient consultations, postoperative rounding, and follow-up care
- Assist with fracture management, splinting, casting, injections, wound care, and other office-based procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, primary care providers, rehabilitation services, emergency medicine, and specialty consultants
- Opportunity to develop advanced orthopedic skills while working with a high-volume, collaborative practice

- Canton-Potsdam Hospital (primary)
- Massena Hospital (secondary)
- Schedule:
- Full-time position
