Coastal Management Solutions, Inc.is actively seeking a qualified Physician (MD/DO) to provide medical services at the Beaufort County Detention Center in Beaufort, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated physician to deliver high-quality healthcare at correctional settings while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team.

6 hours per week - Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

The Physician (MD/DO) will:
- Conduct intake health evaluations for newly admitted.
- Provide chronic care management and routine medical clinics.
- Perform urgent medical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Review and evaluate patient medical histories, laboratory results, and diagnostic findings.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and mental health professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation.
- Respond to medical concerns and provide clinical oversight as needed.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualified candidates must:
- Graduate from an accredited medical or osteopathic school with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Possess a current, active, and unrestricted South Carolina medical license.
- Maintain a current DEA registration.
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient care skills.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Be eligible to work in the United States and meet all applicable employment requirements.
- Experience in emergency medicine, family practice, correctional healthcare, or public health.
- Experience providing care in underserved or high-acuity environments.
