Excelis Medical Associates (EMA) is an independent, physician-owned, democratically operated emergency medicine group serving hospitals throughout the Tampa Bay area.
We are seeking full-time and part-time Physician Assistants to join our growing team at:
- St. Joseph's Hospital Main
- Tampa - St. Joseph's Hospital North
- Lutz - St. Joseph's Hospital South
- Riverview - Bay Care Hospital Wesley Chapel
Work alongside experienced emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams in community, trauma, and stroke center environments.

Whether you are an experienced Emergency Medicine PA or a new graduate beginning your career, EMA provides the support and clinical environment to help you succeed.
New graduates receive comprehensive training and mentorship. Experienced Emergency Medicine PAs are eligible for a sign-on bonus and the opportunity to join an established, physician-led practice.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad range of acute conditions
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Provide care across a variety of medical and surgical presentations
- Work as part of a collaborative, supportive emergency medicine team
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered emergency care
- Work effectively in both community and higher-acuity emergency settings

- Current Florida Physician Assistant license
