St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management Physician to join our growing, hospital-employed medical staff. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. The position offers an opportunity to develop a personalized practice within a supportive hospital environment and collaborate closely with referring physicians across multiple specialties.
Depending on the physician’s interests and training, the practice may include:
- Comprehensive evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain
- Interventional pain procedures
- Medication management when clinically appropriate
- Musculoskeletal and spine-related pain
- Neuropathic pain
- Cancer-related and complex pain
- Multidisciplinary approaches to pain management
- Collaboration with primary care, orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, behavioral health, physical therapy, and other specialties
There is an opportunity for the incoming physician to help shape the future growth and scope of the Pain Management program.
What We’re Looking For- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
- Fellowship training in Pain Medicine preferred
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
