We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Associate Medical Director to join our growing Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) team at Medical City Children's Hospital. As a key leader in a high-acuity, high-volume tertiary care center, you'll work alongside a supportive team that values clinical excellence, innovation, and mentorship.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with the other Associate Medical Director and Medical Director to enhance clinical quality and operations
  • Support physician onboarding, education, and development
  • Help shape department strategy and culture
  • Foster collaboration with nursing, hospital leadership, and subspecialists
  • Maintain a clinical role with flexible scheduling options

What We're Looking For:
  • Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Leadership experience or strong leadership potential - graduating PEM fellows are welcome to apply
  • Passion for pediatric emergency care with specific skill in any of the following areas: POCUS, QI, Sedation, EMS, AI, Transfer Medical Control
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and teaching - Dallas, TX
Facility Information

Medical City Children's Hospital is the flagship children's hospital of the large network of Medical City Hospitals. The hospital is a 254-bed, award-winning, pediatric healthcare facility, delivering specialized pediatric care. It boasts a 37-bed pediatric med-surg unit supported by a PICU and CVICU with a robust ECMO program. The emergency medicine group works alongside exceptional subspecialists in pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology and infectious disease.

The site also operates a pediatric hematology-oncology program, in addition to a psychiatric hospital with dedicated pediatric services. Located on the same campus, Medical City Dallas includes a Level IV NICU and adult hospital, making it the only hospital in the DFW metroplex to offer comprehensive care for all ages including, women and infant services under the same roof.
