Opportunity Details:- Position can part-time 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) up to 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) with flexible days.
- Direct supervision of OMFS resident staff.
- The candidate will be part of a growing OMFS Department that includes a strong infrastructure of support with the present attending staff in OMFS.
- Participation in daily rounds of in-patients.
- Scholarly activity with resident education program and mentorship of research initiatives.
- Educational conferences and presentations to faculty and residents across all disciplines.
- Growth of Craniofacial Division to include treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Cleft Palate Repair.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
- MD Degree Preferred.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Active New York State Dental License.
- Active New York State Dental Anesthesia License.
- Fellowship Certificate of training preferred; however, not required.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $201,000* (board eligible); $345,000* (board certified) based on 24-40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $300,620** (board eligible) and $475,020** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
- Projected bonus of up to $24,000 - $40,000(based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
