Outpatient Psychiatrist Position – Assistant/Associate Professor Available

Albany Medical Center is recruiting an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry faculty. Hours are Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule. This will be a full‑time outpatient position.

• Provide direct outpatient psychiatric care including supervision of resident intakes
• Hospital and ER consultation
• ECT and TMS
• Education and supervision of psychiatry residents and medical students, including research and quality‑improvement projects
• Contribution to weekend department call schedule with additional compensation
• Partnership with Director of Medical Student Education in psychiatry to oversee the integrated curriculum and the third‑year clerkship

• MD, DO or equivalent degree
• Board certified or board eligible in General Psychiatry
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York State
• Demonstrated interest in resident education and academic psychiatry
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
